After its successful launch last month, TUC EURECA-PRO Podcast series returns with another scientific conversation, this time focusing on Biochar.
Dr. Panagiotis Regouzas, Post-Doctoral Researcher at TUC, interviews Dr. Gregory Möller, Professor in the Soil and Water Systems Department and the Chemical and Biological Engineering Department at the University of Idaho, with a joint appointment at Washington State University, on the topic of biochar.
Dr. Gregory Möller gave a EURECA-PRO invited lecture at TUC last year that focused on Biochar and specifically on it its high-efficiency potential in achieving sustainability and reducing the carbon footprint in the Water Sector. The recorded conversation follows on from the talk to expand on the innovative applications of biochar, the advanced filtration system developed by Dr Möller and his research team, the challenges that might emerge in the process and the solutions provided by state of the art engineering, as well as projections about its use for a more sustainable future.
