Abstract
Prof. Raupenstrauch's presentation will focus on the research work at Montanuniversität Leoben regarding high temperature recycling processes. Specifically, Prof. Raupenstrauch will present the rationale of applying and results on the following high temperature processes:
- Carbothermal Treatment and Cooling of Metallurgical Residues
- Mineral Wool Waste Recycling
- Thermochemical treatment of chemically modified Moroccan rock phosphate
- Phosphorus recovery from sewage sludge ash;
- LIB Recycling
- Burners for hydrogen enriched gases including safety measures
Finally, he will present a short introduction to the new M.Sc. programme "Safety and Disaster Management".
Short Bio
Professor Harald Raupenstrauch holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Graz University of Technology, Austria and has completed his doctoral studies with distinction at the same university, with the thesis entitled "Computer Simulation of Reactive Flow in Packed Beds".
