The Technical University of Crete (TUC), proud member of the European University on Responsible Consumption and Production (EURECA-PRO), organizes a series of open scientific lectures in the context of faculty exchange visits.

On Wednesday, November 27, 2024, TUC hosted Dr. Adrian Florea, Associate Professor in the Faculty of Mining, Department of Environmental Engineering and Geology, University of Petroşani, Romania, with funding and support from the ERASMUS+ Staff Mobility for Teaching program.

Dr. Florea delivered a lecture on "GEOVIA Surpac Applications in Slope Stability Analysis and Air Quality Modelling" (all details about this lecture can be found on the linked announcement). The lecture was held as part of the course "Computer-Aided Mine Planning", taught by Prof. Michael Galetakis at the School of Mineral Resources Engineering (MRE).
