The European University on Responsible Consumption and Production (EURECA-PRO) is an alliance of 9 European Universities, committed to promoting research, training, innovation and entrepreneurship focusing on Responsible Consumption and Production, which is also one of the United Nations’ most strategic Sustainable Development Goals (SDG12) for our transition to a more ecological model of circular economy.  

The Technical University of Crete (TUC), as a small, young, dynamic University and amongst the most prominent research institutions in Greece,  has been a key member of the EURECA-PRO scientific network actively contributing to the design and delivery of innovative interdisciplinary research activities and curricula, offering mobility opportunities to students and faculty across partner universities as well as hosting milestone events for the growth and sustainability of the alliance, supporting its true European nature and fostering borderless, multinational exchanges. 

TUC's goal is to continue to grow through this unique network of exchanges and to contribute important assets of knowledge and innovation both to local communities and on a global scale and in this manner to  effectively support its ongoing pursuit of excellence in education and research.
